The “ Solitär ” variant presented here works exactly like the wired system, but does not require a separate canister tank and is powered by four integrated, powerful 18650 Li-Ion battery cells .
This version is “flight-approved” , meaning the four battery cells can be carried in hand luggage*, making it ideal for travel but also for dives that do not require a battery tank.
The "Oceanex Morph 2.0 Solitär Set contains:
- Oceanex Morph 2.0 lamp head
- 4 pieces 18650 Li-Ion battery cells
- a screw-on tank for the 4 Li-Ion cells
- a high-quality charger
- two different reflectors: "Spica" and "Morph"
- a foldable Oceanex Goodman handle
- the Oceanex Thumb Loop
Developed by technical divers for technical divers: with up to 125,000 lux or 5,500 lumens and a guaranteed diving depth of up to 350 meters , the Oceanex Morph 2.0 lighting system is probably the world's most powerful main light for demanding technical divers
The Oceanex Morph 2.0 sets new standards for the optimal light characteristics of a main light for technical divers, especially for wreck and cave dives.
A main lamp system trusted by professional divers, wreck and cave divers worldwide.
With an impressive output of 125,000 lux and 5,500 lumens, the Morph offers exceptional light quality and unmatched light output.
The light characteristics
The powerful spot ( 4° ) with a uniform corona ( 75° with Spica reflector, 68° with Morph reflector ) penetrates even great distances and provides excellent depth perception, while the corona gently illuminates the surroundings (in a ratio of 10:1) – ideal even in conditions with a lot of suspended matter under water.
Thanks to the optimized 6,000 Kelvin and the special LED light composition of the Morph, the backscatter effect is largely avoided and ideal lighting parameters are achieved.
For special applications, the lamp can also be operated without a reflector and transforms into a soft video light with 180° illumination .
The Oceanex Morph 2.0 offers an ideal spot to corona ratio of 10:1 , enabling precise and glare-free illumination – perfect for demanding dives.
With the two included reflectors, or without a reflector, the light characteristics can be easily adjusted ("morphed") even when operating underwater, even with thick gloves.
Four pre-programmed power levels ( 100%, 50%, 25%, 10% ), which can be conveniently selected via a rotating ring , and the possibility of individually adjusting these and other parameters, make the Morph 2.0 the ideal choice for technical divers who expect optimal lighting even under difficult conditions.
The Oceanex “Morph” system is the technical development of the proven “ Oceanex Sunbeam ” main lamp system, which has been used successfully by professional divers as well as technical, wreck and cave divers worldwide for many years.
With numerous improvements in handling, weight reduction, electronics and configurability, the Morph System 2.0 sets new standards in lighting for technical divers.
The Oceanex Morph 2.0 Solitaire is powered by a " XLamp Extreme High Power LED (XHP) " of the latest generation - the currently best LED technology from the US manufacturer " Cree" . These LEDs set new standards in terms of lumen density, color consistency and reliability, especially under the most demanding conditions. Thanks to their outstanding performance and longevity, they enable outstanding light output and raise the light quality of the Morph 2.0 to an incomparable level.
These exceptional performance data are also achieved through the interaction with the specially coated and precisely calculated wet reflector and the innovative borosilicate glass test tube design of the burner. These unique technologies minimize scattering losses and ensure a focused, efficient light output - a decisive advantage over other manufacturers of high-quality diving lamps.
The package includes the foldable Goodman handle and both reflectors: "Spica reflector" and "Morph reflector" as well as a thumb loop and of course the screw-on tank for the four Li-Ion cells.
Completely manufactured in Germany according to the “DIR premise” , the system guarantees maximum reliability and offers the optimal light characteristics depending on the mission:
For ambitious exploration, wreck and cave divers who value maximum flexibility but do not want to compromise on their equipment - be it on flights or on missions where a wired battery tank is not required.
A high-end main lamp system trusted by professional divers as well as wreck and cave divers worldwide.
