material information

Developed by technical divers for technical divers.

With up to 125,000 lux and a tested diving depth of up to 350 meters , the Morph 2.0 lighting system sets new standards in performance and reliability worldwide.

Completely manufactured in Germany according to the “DIR premise”, it guarantees maximum reliability and offers the optimal light characteristics depending on the mission:

  • Continuously focusable during operation
  • A precise 4° spot in the 68° corona cone or
  • A precise 4° spot in the 75° corona cone
  • Or a 180° wide-angle floodlight that is ideal for videos

This makes the Morph System ideal for exploration, wreck and cave divers.

Both reflectors, a foldable Goodman handle and a thumploop, as well as a WAM E/O cord are included.

A main lamp system trusted by professional divers, wreck and cave divers worldwide.

The Oceanex Morph sets new standards for the optimal light characteristics of a main light for technical divers, especially during exploration, wreck and cave diving.

With an impressive output of 125,000 lux or 5,500 lumens, the Morph offers exceptional light quality and unmatched light output.

The light characteristics

The powerful spot ( 4°! ) with a uniform corona ( 75° with Spica reflector, 68° with Morph reflector ) penetrates even great distances and ensures excellent depth perception, while the corona gently illuminates the surroundings (in a ratio of 10:1) - ideal even in conditions with a lot of suspended matter under water. Thanks to the optimized 6,000 Kelvin and the special LED light composition of the Morph, any backscatter effect ( no backscatter ) is avoided and ideal lighting parameters are achieved.

180 degree video diving light

For special applications, the lamp can also be operated without a reflector and turns into a soft video light with 180° illumination . The Morph offers an ideal spot to corona ratio ( 10:1 ) and thus enables precise and glare-free illumination - perfect for demanding dives. With the two included reflectors, or without a reflector, the light characteristics can be easily adjusted underwater, even with thick gloves.

The system can of course be fully focused during operation – even with thick gloves.

The tool-free design allows for easy replacement of components directly on site. Thanks to encapsulated electronics and sealed LEDs, the lamp remains fully functional even if the test tube breaks — even without affecting the focus.

High-quality materials such as POM-C and seawater-resistant anodized “aircraft aluminum” ensure maximum durability with minimal wear.

Four pre-programmed power levels ( 100%, 50%, 25%, 10% ) and the ability to individually adjust these and other parameters make the Morph the ideal choice for technical divers who expect optimal lighting even under difficult conditions.

The Oceanex “Morph” system is the technical development of the proven “ Oceanex Sunbeam ” main lamp system, which has been used successfully by professional divers as well as exploration, wreck and cave divers worldwide for many years.

With numerous improvements in light output, handling, weight reduction and configurability, the Morph System sets new standards in lighting for technical divers.

The Oceanex Morph 2.0 is powered by a " XLamp Extreme High Power LED (XHP) " of the latest generation - the currently best LED technology from the US manufacturer " Cree" . These LEDs set new standards in terms of lumen density, color consistency and reliability, especially under the most demanding conditions. Thanks to their outstanding performance and longevity, they enable outstanding light output and raise the light quality of the Morph 2.0 to an incomparable level.

test tube burner diving lamp These exceptional performance data are also achieved through the interaction with the specially coated and precisely calculated wet reflector and the innovative borosilicate glass test tube design of the burner. These unique technologies minimize scattering losses and ensure a focused, efficient light output - a decisive difference to other manufacturers of high-quality diving lamps.

The package includes the foldable Goodman handle and both reflectors : Spica reflector and Morph reflector and a thumb loop, as well as a WAM E/O cable.
